Irene is a compassionate and empathetic counsellor, with a background in education,
where she began her career supporting children and adolescents. This experience
inspired a transition into counselling, where she now works therapeutically with
children, adolescents, adults, and their families to support their mental health and
wellbeing goals. She provides a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to
explore challenges and build practical coping strategies.
Irene holds a Master of Counselling and is committed to ongoing professional
development and lifelong learning to ensure she provides evidence-based and ethical
care.
Her clinical experience includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person-centred
therapy, trauma-informed practice, crisis support, alcohol and other drugs counselling,
and general mental health counselling. Irene also has experience collaborating with
families, schools, GPs, and allied health professionals to support positive client
outcomes.
Irene is a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
Outside of her professional work, Irene enjoys spending time with family and friends, as
well as fishing, baking, and painting.

Dr Talat Majid
Dr Talat Majid graduated with an MBBS from Army Medical College, Pakistan, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2021. She has been providing dedicated care to the community as a General Practitioner in Australia since 2018.
With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr Majid has worked extensively in base hospitals, cardiac units, and paediatrics overseas before pursuing General Practice in Australia. She is committed to delivering comprehensive and compassionate healthcare.
